The staff were very friendly from the outset. The room was very clean and well-equipped. Given that the rooms are above the Pub, they were surprisingly very quiet indeed. We had a room overlooking the main road but there was no noticeable noise. There was plenty of parking right next to the Horse and Cart.
It was perfect for our needs. We wanted a place to sleep in a comfortable place near Rye and it delivered in abundance. It was an added bonus to have a few drinks in the fun bar before heading upstairs to sleep.

The room is spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was gorgeous. Such a deep and long bath and a huge power shower.
The pub is welcoming and very friendly. Staff and customers lovely.

Staff were very accommodating as we were going to a wedding so needed to check in early and came back to property late at night.
