Bit of a hidden gem. A random pick because it was close to the halls that my daughter was moving into.
Really friendly staff, superb room and the pub seemed great although we only stopped for a quick drink after lugging bags. I imagine I’ll be back a few times
The only negative was that there was some road noise, but it’s on a road, so, hey.
And I couldn’t get the TV to work.

Spacious, well-equipped room, comfortable bed, Netflix on TV, fabulous bathroom.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
The stairs are very steep and winding. If you have mobility problems or are very unfit, then this is something to take into account.
We had been looking forward to trying the food, but the kitchen was closed the days we were there 😒.

Really nice hotel room, clean & had everything you needed & all the staff were really friendly.
Just the noise level as it’s above a pub and on the Main Street.
