Disappointing

Large plot, nice gardens, spacious accommodation, (fairly) well equipped kitchen, good WiFi, air conn throughout , plenty of power points and USB charger points. Power gates and large car port (though narrow entrance made access difficult in a medium sized car with the neighbours’ cars on the road opposite) Patricia and Rock rentals were friendly and helpful (as much as they could be)

Place is looking tired, the reality differing from the website photos, expectations, and price Downstairs area damp with musty smell Faulty Electrics -The Power outside tripped when we used hob, oven and kettle together. We first thought it was a local power cut but when Patricia arrived she demonstrated how to reset the electrical system outside. This was not the Circuit breakers box inside but the power utility box outside (that is not supposed to be accessible to the public) During our week we had 3 more power trips, twice when cooking in the evening and one evening when granddaughter was having a shower and didn’t appreciate being plunged into darkness. Many taps are plumbed wrong so hot is blue and cold is red (caused some concern upon our late arrival until we realised as it takes a few minutes for hot water to reach upstairs) We arrived on Saturday to a murky pool. Tried to complain on Sunday but was not classed as urgent. Patricia from Rock rentals came Monday checked and found there were no chlorine tablets left in the pool skimmers. Tried to find some in the pool room but it was locked. The pool team finally came Tuesday and added chlorine Then came back for the 2nd weekly visit on Thursday, so I expect chlorine routinely runs out by Sunday/Monday. The Neighbouring dogs barking wake you up from 7.00 Low water pressure means you cannot use both showers at same time Upstairs double bedroom air conn too loud to sleep (sounded like a toilet flushing) I appreciate there will be insects in a Spanish villa & some will get indoors. But we had an infestation in the downstairs triple bedroom, despite spraying granddaughter was finding 3 or 4 spiders per day & after 3 nights moved upstairs - so we then had a 3-bedroom villa. Suspected a spider nest inside the wardrobes but in this room they are locked.
