My flight was canceled and then canceled again due to the weather. Ended up spending an extra 5 nights in Ponta Delgada. Found the hotel via Expedia. Beautiful hotel! It looks brand new. Property is very well maintained. Rooms are very very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool looks nice but it was too cold for a dip. The spa is very nice. Must wear a head cap if you use the indoor pool. Hotel is downtown and walking distance to many shops and great restaurants. Make sure you make reservations for lunch and dinner. Being a solo traveler it was sometimes difficult to just pop into a place and eat. There’s a laundromat just a three minute walk from the hotel. Drop off and pick up. Very convenient as I ran out of clean clothes to wear while on an extended vacation. Rent a car to see the most of the island. Get up early and go! Have a backup plan should the weather not cooperate with your plans. I saw a lot and was happy with having a car. Came right before it got too crowded. Parts of the island seemed magical! Really only need 4 solid days to see almost all of it. Staying downtown is ideal as a home base. Would absolutely stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to solo, couples or group travelers.

The staff are knowledgeable and always ready to help, they even reminded me of a possible cancellation of my next day flight due to weather! Saved my life.
The hotel is quite new and equipped with everything you could think of, sauna, pool, steam room with towel provided. All you need to do is simply ask. I had a wonderful time there and would choose to stay again next time I visit Azores.

This is an excellent hotel. We loved it. The facade looks old fashioned but it is modern inside. The room is large and super clean and most have balconies. It has a large pool and a huge pool area with loungers and tables. Breakfast is included and excellent. The staff is the best. Super nice and helpful. Maria called several restaurants for reservations and came out to the pool to inform us. Perfect central location.
