I came over for the half marathon and arrived after check-in, but this wasn’t a problem for Alison and Nigel who kindly waited up to show me in. They also allowed me to check out late the following day for no extra charge, which made the world of difference as I could come back and have a shower and change.
The accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the shower was great (one of those rain showers!)
There was also a selection of yoghurts, cereals, pain au chocolats, bread and spreads, and fruit to choose from for breakfast (which is in a small adjoining kitchen space so you can get up and sort yourself out whenever suits, which was perfect for me as I needed to be up fairly early for the run).
Altogether it was a great stay and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to come to this beautiful part of the world!
