The location is good, it’s hilly but golf buggy’s are available to the beach and back.
Facilities are good, the little extras are appreciated water is given plentiful. No need to beg for a human right unlike other 5 star hotels and resorts. The same for toiletries these are provided secured to wall in pumps, La labo rose smells amazing.
Breakfast was served until 12, which was a game changer for us, it was also fantastic. They don’t clear up whilst guests are still eating, before closing they gave you a heads up 10 mins before to go get anything you need.
Our son was approached to make his own pizza in the Italian restaurant, he loved this and it was actually very tasty.
The approach is now very rare in several luxury resorts, this stood out for us & much appreciated.
All of the staff were happy to help, went a step beyond! Some of the best polite happy well trained staff we have had the pleasure to meet. A breath of fresh air in modern day poor service.
The spa was lacking in facilities only one working sauna. Our son who is 9 and a regular sauna plunge pool user was not allowed to use the facilities at any time.
The beach bar restaurant needs reviewing, the food is very poor. We had undercooked cooked food, and the rest very bland. The service here was friendly but very slow and some of order did not arrive

Food - average at best. Disappointing. Lack of choice; and if menu is so limited, the quality should be better.
Service - absolutely disorganised staff. Poor communication throughout between staff, at restaurants, at pool, at reception. For an international 5 star brand, completely amateur.

Absolutely stunning suite that we stayed in with beautiful views of the ocean, lighthouse and Gibraltar rock. Really well designed and high end fixtures and fittings - loved the curtains that closed by themselves with a little pull on them. The bed was huge and comfortable!
Unfortunately the staff did not seem to have been trained well, there was an inexperience to them and a low confidence - some of the processes in the hotel were not in place and perhaps hindered the staff to the do job they want to do. Problems with space at breakfast, people waiting for a table, waiting for a coffee. Requested something to be bought to the room three times and it never came.

Nice staff new facilities and clean, suite room is good size and bathroom was also good size
Some negative experiences such as tv in bedroom not properly working and was not fixed during out stay
