Eliena Hotel Seoul Gangnam

Location for my needs was great. Very central. Clean and bright. Staff so friendly on reception. Was like coming home when greeted. I stayed for 12 nights.

The rooms were only partially made up daily. I did have to ask for the coffee cups to be washed or replaced on a daily basis. Cafe insight opening time was late for me. Opened 8am I think and I needed coffee well before that.

Our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and beautifully presented. The hotel itself also smelled lovely, which was such a nice touch and made the whole stay feel very welcoming. However, the real highlight was the staff. Every member of staff we encountered was incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming, even though our Korean was very limited. They were always patient and happy to help. I’d particularly like to give a huge shout-out to Justin, who went above and beyond when I accidentally left my phone in a taxi. It was an incredibly stressful situation, but Justin was so kind, patient and helpful in assisting me to navigate everything and try to recover it. I truly appreciated the time and effort he put in to help me, and I’m incredibly grateful for his kindness.

Honestly, there was very little we didn’t like. We had a wonderful stay and felt very comfortable and well looked after throughout.

Everything was great here. Loved the service, the restaurants and the overall facilities. Feels 5*. Better than most hotels I’ve been in.

my stay at your 4 star hotel Eliena, despite the room being clean and meeting my disability needs. The major issue was the heating being turned off for the last 3 days, which caused me significant distress at night due to the cold. Even when I reported few times it did not change. As a disabled person, I'm more susceptible to temperature changes, and this oversight greatly impacted my comfort. The hotel's location is also quite isolating for a family wanting to explore the city. We struggled to find nearby restaurants or amenities, making it hard to enjoy our stay. On a positive note, the staff were kind and polite, but there was a clear language barrier. This made it tough to book a wheelchair-accessible taxi for our departure. Despite calling the night before to confirm, a non-accessible taxi arrived at 5 am, and we had to wait an hour for a suitable replacement. Given the 4-star service I paid for, I expect better attention to accessibility needs and communication. The issues with heating and taxi arrangements were unacceptable and didn't reflect the service I was promised.
