Perfect location for the great north run, yet still a reasonable price. Hosts could not have been more helpful, welcoming and supportive. Loads of space.

It was very spacious, clean, close to the city. A great base used for the great north run.
I wouldn’t say I didn’t like these things, but the property is a little tired and some of the windows didn’t shut properly. A couple of minor issues which the owner was happy to come and fix either during our stay or after our stay.

Location of the apartment was quite good.
Quite spacious and pretty quiet when sleeping.
Lack of cleanliness (dried in sick on bed frame, bath in need of a good scrub).
Shabby, worn down appearance mainly in bathrooms and kitchen. Ensuite bathroom has a badly chipped shower wall and the water pressure in the shower is very low. Both shower heads, too small for a proper shower.
Window lock in bedroom falling off.
No pillow protectors and pillows in a state of needing renewed.
Kitchen chairs very badly scratched or worn away.
