Beautiful hotel in a great location. Breakfast was really good and staff are really friendly and helpful.
Spent a nice leisurely few hours around the pool.

Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and very convenient to get t9 from railway station.
Facities a bit basic, there was a fridge and kettle. The hotel was busy on the Sunday and I feel the staff need more cover.

Location was amazing staff were lovely
I booked a 2 night stay and it cost over £600 I was running the great north run so I expected it to be more expensive but I booked thinking I was getting a luxury room and spa which I never used btw the room I had wasn’t luxury it was poor dark dingy couldn’t turn the air con off so the room was so cold tv didn’t work water was lukewarm blocked sink and just not clean. I told the manager who very kindly upgraded me to a suite apartment so much better absolutely massive I just wish the lighting was better because it’s so dark in those rooms
