First of all, the staff. Everyone we met was so lovely and genuinely cared. They made our stay so comfortable and whenever we needed something, they were super happy to accommodate. We checked out at 12pm and were able to leave our luggage at the hotel until our flight at 6pm so we had the benefit of an extra comfortable day without luggage.
The location was perfect for a short break. About a 15 minute walk from Old Nice, you’ll find loads of shops for coffee, lunch, clothes and groceries on your way. There’s a tram directly outside the hotel that can take you there too.
The room was perfectly clean, with a super comfy bed. Great WiFi and a big TV, coffee machine with pods and a kettle.
Breakfast was great for the one day we had it (we wanted to explore other coffee shops in the area). There’s was a gluten free corner which was fantastic with those with allergies and a variation of hot and cold selections alongside fresh juice, tea and coffee.
It’s really hard to find something not to like about this hotel. The stay was great. The only thing we had an issue with was the TV not connecting to our screen mirroring devices (however, we didn’t ask and I’m sure if we did someone would have been able to help).

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They answered our questions about the city and helped us check in early. The sauna was a nice addition and the beds were very very comfortable! It was also nice to be right next to the train station and tram line 1.
The breakfast wasn't an amazing selection for a vegan diet, so we didn't do that as an add on and opted to find breakfast elsewhere in the city.

The hotel is very conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from the train station, which is a big plus.
The room was nicely decorated and overall pleasant. The staff were also extremely friendly and welcoming, which really made a difference.
The double-glazed windows do a decent job at reducing outside noise.
It feels like some rooms may have been divided to maximize space, making the room quite compact.
Some design elements could be improved, especially the coat rack, which wasn’t very practical.
The hotel is located right next to tram line 1, so it can be quite noisy. While the windows help, you can still hear the trams.
The main issue is the poor soundproofing between rooms. I could clearly hear my neighbors’ conversations and activities, which was quite unpleasant and could become tiring over a longer stay.
