Room was beautiful, breakfast was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful and Cecil the Cat made our evening! I would come back just to see him again!

Lovely freshly renovated village hotel , rooms were cosy and clean . The bar / restaurant felt welcoming with lots of nice touches . All staff were amazing

Decorated to high standard. Our room was really nice and excellent shower. The outside courtyard was an added bonus and great to sit in and have a drink on the hot days
Obviously no fault of the owners but due to the exceptional warm weather we needed to leave the windows open so traffic was quite loud

Bit of a curate’s egg - good in parts.
Cooking could be a bit over fussy but otherwise good.
No reserved parking at all for guests - and it could be quite a challenge to find a parking spot in unfamiliar back streets.
Overcooked pastries at breakfast time.
