Warm welcome, friendly staff, great location, good value for money (full breakfast included). Super quiet, dark skies. Private parking. Beer garden.
It deserves to be busier. Needs some marketing input.

Lovely little cosy Inn in a beautiful location. The room I had was small but clean (why would a solo traveller need a big room?) and had everything one would need. The shared bathroom was very clean and just down a short corridor.
They also provide meals of very good quality. I got the Rump steak (I know not very adventurous) but it was delicious and cooked exactly as I’d asked.
The decor could be described as retro or old fashioned but the price very fairly reflects this. If you’re looking for five star hotel quality for two/three star prices then this is not the place for you.
Otherwise I would highly recommend- what looks like a young couple (apologies if I’m mistaken) running the place as a project are doing a great job.
….oh and they have a very good local cask ale which was the cheapest I had on my trip!

Authentic pub. Friendly staff and good food.Room was fine for a 1 night stay. Bed was very comfortable .

Service on arrival , during stay and on leaving very pleasant.
I need a shower. Bath had no hand holds so didn't attempt to get into it properly. I didn't check that when booking, so ....
I was in room 4. Just one hook on the wall and no wardrobe. Lucky we were there for 1 night only. Room very cramped.
