Ian the host was very friendly and informative. His wife Joan showed us our room and was quiet busy catering etc. She made me a good hot chocolate at bedtime. Our King room was comfortable with a good size bathroom. Ian maintained a small, cosy bar with a friendly atmosphere.

Not eating pork, breakfast was a little disappointing for me as the mushrooms were not sautéed and there were only scrambled eggs on offer on the mini self serve buffet bar. A few boiled, poached or fried.eggs would have been nice. However Ian did say Joan would do anything on request. The scrambled egg was nice though. On the whole it was a decent breakfast.

Lovely welcoming host, amazing atmosphere. We enjoyed friendly chats with the locals, big portions of food and comfortable bedroom with large bed overlooking local greenery and hills.
