About this house rental

Nestled in Middletown, this charming house for $1,022 per night is a great option for your next vacation. 7 Bedroom/3 Bath Home. Completely refitted with new furnishings, mattresses in 2018. Located 10 minutes from Newport and 5 minutes to beaches (by Car). Set on 2 acres this home has 5 bedrooms on the 1st two floors and 3 separate sleeping areas on the 3rd Floor (separated but lofty feel). 8 Person Hot tub on the backyard deck (located off the Kitchen). Large open TV/Dining room on the 1st Floor, and Pool Table, bar and TV on 2nd Floor. Bedroom 1-1 King/1 twin(1st Floor) Bedroom 2-1 King(1st Floor) Bedroom 3-1 King/1 twin(2nd Floor) Bedroom 4-1 King/1 twin (2nd Floor) Bedroom 5-1 King/1 twin (2nd Floor) Loft 6-1 Queen (3rd Floor) Sleeping loft- 2 kings separated by a privacy wall. Total 7 Kings/1 queen/4 twins (12 beds total) There is a bathroom on each floor. The house has been tastefully and amply decorated to accomodate large groups in the open kitchen and dining room. The location is 5 minutes from Newport Vineyards and Newport National Golf, about 7 minutes to beaches and 10-15 by car to Newport. I am usually not interested in 2 night rentals during the high season (May-September) and holidays, but you are welcome to make an inquiry (sometimes I make exceptions based on scheduling and market conditions). It is at my discretion to determine number of days, so please check with me before you make solid plans with your group and put in a reservation. This house is perfect for large groups. Close drive to Newport which was great for us. Only concerns were 3 king beds on the 3rd floor with no proper air conditioning or fans. This made the third floor almost unusable in the summer. Also, the washing machine leaked a lot of water while we were there. Other than that, it’s a typically older home that can accommodate large groups.

The property was convenient for all wedding activities that took place in Portsmouth as well as the beach in Newport. Unfortunately the house is located on a very busy highway that created road noise at all hours of the day as well as a commercial business next door.

We had a great time and there was plenty of room and so many beds to choose from! The living room is a great hangout spot, and loved that there were multiple outdoor decks to sit at!

What a great place! Comfortable and large enough for a big group to spread out. We enjoyed a long weekend to celebrate a birthday and NYE. Hot tub was perfect too! We’d stay again!

We came to town for an annual golf trip. The house was exactly what 14 of us guys were looking for. The hot tub and pool table were a hit and there were more than enough beds for everyone. Chris was very responsive and helpful.

We were a group thirteen adults here for a family wedding. There was plenty of beds for everyone. We enjoyed gathering in the den area and on the deck for games and conversation. The hot tub was a hit with several members. Overall, we had a great and memorable trip there.

Rented for the full family to stay. Was hosting a bridal shower at the vineyard and family came from out of town. Hot tub and pool table were a hit and proximity to venue was awesome!

Several of my high school friends and I celebrated our 46th reunion at Chris's house. The house is huge and extremely comfortable. It's a great place for a group to stay. The house has a large yard and parking area and three decks for lounging. We didn't try the hot tub but it was available for us. It's fifteen minutes to downtown Newport. It is on a main road, so the rooms in the front can be a little loud if you leave the windows open. The only issue we had was that there was a pesky mouse in the kitchen. This is an old farmhouse, so that's not totally unexpected. The house was spotless otherwise. We'd stay there again.
