Property was beautiful. Room was small but comfortable. Large bathroom with all amenities.
Main rooms and hallways not air conditioned hallways had a terrible smell . There was no night life at resort bar closed very early . service was exceptionally slow at the restaurant.

The Hotels location is what sells the hotel , its the closest hotel to the beach with views of the beach and sea , the hotel is like an old spanish country finca with antique furniture in every room , in facilities it is dated , there a various nationalities , quite a few americans from prenentious people to families , there were some wealthy ukrains who we were told were living in spain to avoid being drafting to fight for their country , the breakfast was buffet and very good , we ate in the hotel overlooking the sea which was lovely , the staff were a bit to attentive coming and filling your glass when a drop was drunk , the food was good , a starter shared , two mains , a dessert , a bottle of water and a bottle of cava was £183 , the next night we ordered less the bill was £128 , but you are paying for the position , the pool was nice and you could find a sun lounger as we had the impression there was not a huge amount of guests this was probably due to the price to stay here , we paid £370 a night for B & B for three nights , we loved our stay and would stay again, but fear they are out pricing themselves , we stayed 26th June .
The bathroom has shower over the bath that has hoses connected to the taps , this is something from the sixties , this needs updating to a modern shower thats what people expect and this is classed as a 5 Star hotel ,

Property is pretty close to the beach and with a 2year old and a half this is very convenient.

As a gym concept designer, I would have expected a fitness facility to be integrated into the Wellness Space. Especially today, when a fitness center is considered a standard offering in a five-star hotel.
Despite the fact that the resort is an adult recommended one, having 1 or 2 propositions for toddlers in the food menu with vegetables would be something that would make it even more outstanding.

The hotel still has a very special atmosphere. It feels like an old Mediterranean villa, with an incredibly beautiful reception area, and every detail seems to be part of its history.
The breakfast is genuinely what I would expect from a five-star hotel. Fish, champagne, cold cuts, jamón and a very good selection overall -everything you would expect from a hotel of this category.
Cleanliness is excellent. The housekeeping team does a very good job, the grounds are clean, and the pool is clean and pleasant.
Location - right by the sea
No kettle, glasses or even teaspoons in the room.
No complimentary water in the room - not even tap water provided in a bottle.
The hotel is not in particularly good condition and clearly needs maintenance. The lift doors can close dangerously, a ventilation cover fell off, there was a sewage smell in our room, and the air conditioning was leaking.
Some members of staff were extremely unwilling to resolve any issues. In restaurant, a dish appeared on our bill that we had not ordered and that cost roughly twice as much as what we had actually been served. Paying the difference was never the issue - we simply wanted to understand how it had happened. Instead of clarifying, the restaurant manager repeatedly interrupted us, raised his voice, walked away mid-conversation and then appeared to avoid us for the rest of the stay. I have honestly never experienced anything like this in a hotel of this level.
The blonde lady at reception was the one who had to deal with the frustrated guests and did her best to de-escalate the situation. She seemed to be one of the very few people who actually understood how guests at a five-star hotel should be treated.
There is no iron in the room. Ironing is only available as a paid service, and "in some time".
