The rooms were new and beds comfortable. The location for people that want to be in the middle of the town is good. Otherwise it’s very tourist area.

There were several things I was not happy with:
1) the safe in the room was broken. No one replaced. I was left with no safe for 4 nights
2) the button to signal cleaning needed did not work, although I told reception twice about this. As a consequence, without fault of their own, the housekeeping did not clean the room for one and a half days.
3) the terrasse and “pond” on the top floor was not accessible to guests 2 out of 4 days. It was blocked for a private event so we had no access. This is not acceptable. There is no other outdoor space for relaxing in the hotel.
4) The dinner was really bad quality. The fish was tiny and full of fat and the cordon bleu was clearly re-fried. Inedible. We mentioned this to the waiter who said he would talk tot he chef. We never heard back
5) the bathrooms are within the room only separated by a “fence” so no privacy at all from the bed area. This could be fine if travelling with a partner but very inconvenient otherwise.
