The location, a lot of places is reachable by walking. The area is clean and safe.
The cot and food processor for baby was also provided.
Wish they had washing machine.

Arrels Mercat Apartments was superb in so many ways! The building is brand new and everything is fresh and crisp. Our host, Alejandro, was very friendly and helped us with every need and was available until 20 on weekdays. In this time we got quick replies on WhatsApp and recommendations for restaurants. The apartment is spacious and the one we stayed in had a very high ceiling. It had a well equipped kitchen and a luxurious shower. The beds are extremely comfortable. The AC made the whole apartment nice and cool. The location is also superb, could not ask for better with close access to Grand Mercat and many other prime spots. Great sound insulation to the outside, almost no street sounds. The curtains made the apartment almost completely dark. The apartment had a balcony, which on our level was not shared, that was great to go out and get a feel for the city life on.
Only one thing, and for some it does not matter while for others it could be annoying. The sound insulation of the door from the stairwell into the apartments are poor. Maybe this is standard in Spain but we were surprised. The doors closes with a loud noise and this echoes in the stairwell. This was particularly problematic when people came home very late and banged their doors shut. This could potentially be mitigated using some soft-closing system for the doors. Overall the good sides far outweigh the bad and we had a great stay.
