The pool is a big plus, unfortunately a continuous large colony of sugar ants occupied the perimeter making it impossible to sit on edge as well as having food or drinks nearby. Maintenance spraying would rectify this problem. The residence is private as stated but be aware the additional rental unit next door is fairly close. If opening the blinds in Master Bath, or bedroom your privacy is compromised. NO dishwasher in unit! This was missed by me in the amenities/pics but would have appreciated a heads up in description. FYI many of the blinds were inoperative. Lastly, unfortunately the communication was thee most frustrating process that I have dealt with in my history of renting through VRBO. I understand “family emergency” as was the reason given to me twice, but also had to ask for check in info 2x and the last text I sent inquiring about basic cleaning supplies well occupying home went unanswered. All in all the place is very clean and the outdoors specifically make for a wonderful retreat.

So overall the house was clean and super cozy, the pool added the perfect atmosphere after a long day of exploring and site seeing. My complaint about this property is We traveled with our children on this trip. The children had the most fun in the pool and obviously we were aware of quiet times which were stated that started at 10 PM in the contract but I received a call from the host at 8:55 Ish stating that a neighbor complained that kids were screaming, and there was music being played. My kids were swimming in the pool and laughing and having a good time nothing excessive there was also no music playing. I was very taken back when I received this call. I immediately made the kids come in and put everybody to bed which kind of put a damper on the evening. Please be aware that although this house is nice and relaxing I would not suggest bringing children here for vacation.
