Nestled on 19 acres of old oaks and stately maples, the newly-constructed Cottage at
Maple Pond offers you the feeling of total privacyâwhile only a 7-minute drive from
I-77.
New for winter 2025/2026- 4 person barrel sauna.
With 4 bedrooms split between 2 floors and an additional guest cottage available
should you need it, your large group will have plenty of space to unpack, unwind,
and spread out.

From sunup âtil sundown, we have a variety of outdoor activities to keep the whole
family entertained.
Whether itâs exploring our nature trails on foot or bike, taking a dip in the hot tub
under the stars, or paddling around the private, 2-acre pond, thereâs no limit to
things you can do outside.
AIR HOCKEY, ANYONE?
Should the weather turn sour on you, head inside to the game room thatâs sure to
get any teenâs stamp of approval.

- Nintendo & Playstation games
- Skeeball
- Indoor basketball just like the ones you remember from childhood

around an Amish-built, custom oak table.
If a home cooked meal is in your plans, youâll appreciate the fully stocked kitchen so
no one will waste time on a last minute grocery trip.

Q: What is there to do around town?
A: We are minutes away from Dover, New Philadelphia, and Ohioâs largest Amish
community. Nearby attractions include:
- Historic Zoar Village, Fort Laurens, and The Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail
- Zoar Village Golf Course
- The Pro Football Hall of Fame (25 min drive to Canton)
Q: What about COVID?
A: We are taking extra precautions to keep our properties disinfected, which
includes the use of disinfectant on all door knobs, light switches, railings, faucet
handles, etcâin addition to all high-use areas.
Q: What about the guest cabin?
A: For groups larger than 14, the separate guest Cabin (sleeps 6) is available for an
additional nightly cost ($200/night). It comes with all the amenities:
- Large living room and fully stocked, eat-in kitchen
- Clothes washer & dryer
- Dishwasher
- Brand new electric AC and furnace
- Well water (though itâs perfectly fine to drink, it may have a different smell/taste
than youâd expect if youâre used to City Water)
- Located on the water
Q: Is it pet friendly?
A: Well behaved pets are welcome with well behaved owners. Pets do need to be
pre-approved and there is an additional $100/per pet fee.

Our family spent two nights here, and it was the perfect summer staycation. From the moment we arrived, we could tell how much thought and care Rose has put into this property. There were homemade cookies waiting for us, a welcome bag full of goodies, and even everything we needed for s'mores around the fire.
The private pond was definitely the highlight. We spent our days fishing, swimming, and kayaking, and the kids loved the zip line and outdoor swing. In the evenings, we relaxed in the hot tub and sauna while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
One thing that really stood out was how well stocked and thoughtfully prepared everything was. We forgot a few things at home and somehow they already had what we needed. It's clear they've thought of all the little details that make a stay comfortable and stress-free.
The game room was another favorite and kept everyone entertained for hours. There was something for every age, and it gave us plenty to do when we wanted a break from being outside.
This is one of those places that feels special the moment you arrive. We're truly grateful for the memories we made here and can't wait to come back. Thank you, Rose, for sharing such an incredible place with families like ours.

Incredible property and even better hosts! The cottage is wonderful we had a blast enjoying the lake just steps from the cottage. We were truly impressed by how well stocked the house was with anything we might need and Rose went above and beyond with great communication. Highly recommend.
