Our family had a wonderful time! Good places for everyone to sleep and a huge kitchen where we spent a lot of time. The house was decorated for Christmas making it a perfect place to celebrate together!

The home is spacious, lovely, and well-equipped! The owner, Joann, the owner, thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. Our family of twelve fit comfortably with the bedroom options. The large kitchen table was great for eating together and playing games. Adults and children alike had a wonderful stay!

Great house with lots of rooms with a detached garage as well. In the middle of a farming Amish community with horses literally feet away. House has all the amenities you would need including kitchen supplies, linens, games, books and DVDs. Great house for a family get together!

This house was perfect for 9 women for the weekend. We had plenty of beds, space at the dining table, and rocking chairs on the porch or Adirondack chairs at the fire pit to accommodate us all. The kitchen had everything we needed, the living room was cozy, and the well water was even tasty. Thank you for everything. We will be back.

Joanne was an amazing host, the place was perfect. Very clean and easy communication. We had lots of little ones and the multiple bedrooms were fantastic. Joanne and Vic were beyond helpful/thoughtful and easy to communicate with. We already are talking about going back :)

The house and property are gorgeous. The house felt bigger in reality than the pictures implied, which for our family was a blessing. The host was very pleasant, responsive to texts, and met us at the property with the key. We loved the house, and hope to return at some point.

We had a couple of family reunions to attend, so we needed a house for all of our children and grandchildren to stay. Perfect!! Room for everyone and enough supplies for the weekend stay. Thank you for opening up your home for us to stay the weeeknd and enjoy some great scenery!

We had four generations of girls for a weekend. What a surprise, inside has everything you could think of and more. Everything was very clean inside and out. Porches on the front and back were wonderful. It was a beautiful weekend. Joann was excellent to work with and we would suggest it to other friends and family and hope to go back. Great weekend!!!

My husband and I rented the property for time with our grown kids and grandkids that range in ages from 2-7. There were 14 of us and the house was perfect for our crew! Everyone slept well in perfect sized bedrooms and comfortable beds and the yard provides lots of room to play and enjoy! There are pastures of horses all around the property and the whole weekend they came to the fences to say hi. The kids loved that. The back yard has a perfect place for an evening fire and enough chairs for a large crowd like ours. The inside was so clean and spotless! And stocked with everything you’d need to a point that it’s probably better than anywhere else we have ever stayed. Again even with all the energy of small children, there was enough room inside for wiggles and hide and seek! Joanne the owner met us at the house at check-in and was very attentive to all our needs and questions during our stay! Everyone was very excited about the idea of returning to the property in the future for another round of fun.

This is the second time our group has stayed at Scenic Ridge. There are 6 of us who get together twice a year for a girls week of crafting. Joann is a great host!! We like staying at Scenic Ridge because of the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the space available for our crafting and the house is always very clean!

Such a memorable stay! So so equipped house. The facilities were best! So so so clean. Very pleasant and happy vibe. The view from the house was Soo beautiful. Kids loved to see the farm animals in the neighborhood.

Scenic Ridge was a lovely place to stay, with plenty of room, and then some, for nine of us. We enjoyed the quiet outdoors and had good enough weather for fires in the fire pit on two days. On the Sunday we were there, we saw a SPECTACULAR rainbow, the brightest I’ve ever seen.
The kitchen was equipped with all utensils, cookware, and dishware that we needed, and everything was very clean.
There was ample parking space. We used the grill which worked well.
The only items we wished for were some tools for the fire pit, but we did make the fire work without them.
I highly recommend Scenic Ridge for a weekend of getting away.

Our church had a ladies retreat and it was perfect!! The property was everything that was advertised and more! We had high winds and lost electricity........for about 5 seconds. They had a whole house generator, so we weren't disrupted at all! Joann was so friendly and great to work with. Communication was wonderful. We had such a great time, and will definitely go back!!

This is our second time renting this house and we will continue to do so. The house is clean, neat, and arranged well for our needs. The huge kitchen and large table means plenty of room for our big group to all cook, eat, and socialize together. The multiple large spaces meant that we could still spread out without being on top of each other, even when the weather kept us all inside. We love this place.

Very nice property! We spent a almost a week with our grown children and grandchildren here over Christmas break. We had plenty of space to spread out - the kids loved the lower level and heated outbuilding to play and run. We took short trips to Malabar Farm and Mohican State Parks. Kitchen had everything we needed. The owner responded promptly to any questions we had. Five stars!!

Our family had a wonderful weekend together kicking off the Christmas season at Scenic Ridge. The home was large and spacious for our group of 12, and bright with lots of windows. Each room was nicely furnished, organized, and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped, as were the other community areas. Many extras were available for activities during our stay as well. The grounds were well maintained, and the views of the countryside and evening sky were beautiful. Seeing the horses on the adjoining property was a bonus for the kids. The host I communicated with was Joann, who was always courteous and accommodating with my many questions prior to our arrival. She provided all the information we needed. This rental is one we would definitely return to for a future group gathering.

The pictures and description of this home does not do it justice! The views were beautiful. We looked out the kitchen window to see horses. We enjoyed being completely unplugged for a few days! The home is perfectly maintained and stocked for any need we might have had! Joann also brought us extra crockpots for our Thanksgiving dinner! I can not thing of one negative! Worth the visit if you just need to get away from the hustle and bustle!

The property was clean and well outfitted for a large group. Tons of kitchen space, big dining table, lots of counter and cabinet space. The beds were all comfortable with plenty of pillows. Parking for 7-8 medium to large sized cars. Definitely would recommend and return in the future.

Our group had a wonderful fall getaway at Scenic Ridge Guest House. The home had everything we needed. It is beautiful, relaxing, very spacious, and spotlessly clean. The decor was beautiful. We enjoyed the large kitchen and front room. Your neighbor’s horses were very friendly! We played corn hole in the large garage and had a lot of fun. Thank you for the delicious welcome gift! We visited several towns in the area and spent a lot of time in Loudonville and Mount Vernon. We especially enjoyed the nearby hike/bike trails and fishing. We would definitely stay at Scenic Ridge again! Thank you!

Scenic Ridge Guest House is excellent. The house super cute and clean. The location is quite and serene with an amazing view of surrounding Amish houses and horses. I rented The Center which is also on the property for my micro wedding . The owner is very helpful and accommodating. Everything was perfect for my wedding day!

At least twice a year 5-6 of us get together for a "girl's week" and work on crafts; this house was perfect. We were so happy to have a place giving us enough room to spread out our crafts, as well as enough room to have private time to ourselves. The place was immaculate. This is probably the cleanest house we have stayed in and the number of bedrooms was perfect. We hope to return next year.

Awesome getaway. Very peaceful with everything we needed for our large family. This property is beautiful, clean, and well equipped. We enjoyed sunrises, sunsets, rocking on the porch enjoying the view, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows at the firepit, playing cornhole and lots of meals around the large table. Wonderful stay!

This property was everything we needed for our family getaway. Everything we could have needed was provided. We had a great stay.
My only advice would be a new mattress in the “king bed” room on the main floor. I ended up sleeping one night with one of my grandchildren and the other in the sofa because that bed was really uncomfortable. Otherwise though everything was PERFECT
