About this bed and breakfast
Come and enjoy a wonderfully relaxing and quiet stay at our little lakeside oasis. Our guest house is situated on a smaller, non-motorized lake, about 15 minutes North of Wasilla. We have 35 acres of land and enjoy the lake with only two other households, a rarity this close to town!
The guest house is fully equipped for your long or short term stay, just bring your luggage. The guest house features blue mountain pine T&G vaulted ceilings, fully equipped kitchen; second floor deck with gas grill; bedroom has a comfy king sized bed, walk-in closet; full size bathroom and washer & dryer. We also have a queen sized air mattress should you need extra sleeping arrangements.
We have a fire pit down by the lake to enjoy a relaxing evening; a canoe, kayak and paddle boat are available to use as well.
Closest grocery & liquor store is 5 miles down the road.
We have coolers available for use should you try your luck at fishing.

This was a great place to stay. Owners are super communicative. The place was about the cleanest place I have ever stayed. Bed and pillows was just right. Futon in living room folded out to sleep another. Perfect size kitchen that gets the jobs done. The place is right on the water and couldn’t have been prettier. Again it was great and I’d stay there again.

We didn't use the room much due to the fact we were in town visiting family. I was very disappointed we didn't take advantage of the kayaks etc. It really was a lovely place to rest and play if that is what you come for. The kitchen was adequately stocked. The owner happened to be there when we checked in and made a point to introduce himself and to let us know if we need anything to make sure and reach out .

The "Carriage House" was great. The on-site owners were very nice and responsive. The place had all we needed and plenty of space. The location was super peaceful and quiet if that is what you need, you'll be certain to get it here. There are two things to be aware of though: the lake has no fish and the last one mile of road is a REALLY bumpy dirt road. If these are not an issue, you should definitely try this place!
