Spacious accommodations, close to St Ignace city. If you plan on using the outside property plan on goose droppings and mosquitoes everywhere. We still had a good time outside. The gas grill wasn’t in service but we hadn’t planned on using it so not a problem. The inside was clean with plenty of towels. We had more than enough space for 3 couples. I read reviews of a musty smell. This is true, but you mainly notice it when you first arrive. After that it’s not an issue. All 3 couples would stay there again.

Let me start by saying that we really enjoyed our stay and this place has a lot to offer. It helps to have a sense of what you’re getting before arrival. Definitely bring water shoes to wade into the water. There is a short dock and you can find a path from there that is supported by sand. If you deviate from that path there is quite a bit of muck. You might lose a sandal in 6” deep mucky waters there. Once we figured it out we had no problems and really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. The 2 bathrooms are placed in areas of the house that cause a lot of disturbance to sleepers when used in the middle of the night. Creaky doors and shared bathrooms mean half the house can hear the movement. We got used to it. Perfect weather throughout the week really helped. We could walk to Castle Rock. One concern was it was very damp, had an odor when we walked in, and has a lot of slanted floor boards. The dehumidifiers couldn’t keep up.
