Brand new apartment in an exclusive building that highlights both for its central location, a designer entrance, and a large elevator. With an optional onsite parking area with direct access by elevator, the Palace I is a spacious three-bedroom apartment located on a first floor. It has a spacious living room with a designer dining area and an open concept kitchen with high-end appliances. The living room faces a spacious balcony with an outdoor dining area for 4 guests. The apartment has air conditioning both in the living room and in each bedroom.
There are three bedrooms in the apartment, two of them with two single beds each. The master bedroom comes with a double bed. The bedrooms in the apartment face a beautiful open courtyard that ensures a quiet and fresh atmosphere. There are two fully equipped bathrooms, one of which is an ensuite for the master bedroom. The first bathroom has a spacious shower while the second bathroom has a nice bathtub. Not to mention, the apartment also has a very nice heating and free high-speed Wi-Fi is available for the guests.

This is a fantastic location if you are looking for a quick 6 mins (I timed it) walk to La Concha and about 8 mins to old town. The property is clean and quite modern with new(ish) AC units in each room and the bathrooms were nice and more modern than others we have stayed in Spain. The beds were two sets of singles (pushed together or apart) and one double. All comfortable. The building itself is quite new and has a great pastry shop just outside the main entrance. It is a bit pricy, but I think that's due to location and time of year- everything we wanted to do and see was in walking distance. Check-in was easy and we liked that the host company allowed us to store their bags at their office for the day when we were leaving (the office itself is about 3 mins away). For North American travelers, the only thing I would mention is that Spanish VRBO's don't seem to keep amenities like salt/pepper and other spices on hand unlike our North American hosts, but as long as you know that going in, you can plan for it. Overall- really great place for a family or group of friends to stay.

Loved the apartment and the location!! Having access to parking was a plus!! The only thing I would improve on, would be the very hard beds.

Proximity to San Martin market and many good tapas bars. Comfortable and quiet rooms
Found grease marks on some (clean) bowls and glasses in the cupboard. Not a big issue but maybe cleaners can check them as well after each stay.
More towel hooks in bathroom would be great as there's 2 in on-suite room but only 1 hook. Slight inconvenience.
