It was adequate for the night, although the restaurant was lacking in service with only three people working, including kitchen and front of house and reception.

Good location close to Royal Mile. Older property, room had a distinct moldy smell. No room cleaning unless you request from front desk. Hotel prices in this area are more expensive for what you get.

The best part of this hotel is proximity to Waverly station and the Royal Mile - short walks! Enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a good selection. We would have preferred regular desk staff on site, as check in was a little slow.
