Inaccessible, poorly equipped and completely lacking in guest support

- I informed the property before arrival that I had injured my knee, was wearing a brace and had limited mobility. - Early check-in was refused. Despite knowing about the injury, the property did not warn me that my room was on the top floor of a building without an elevator. - The stairway is extremely narrow. There is barely enough room to walk while carrying luggage, making access difficult even without an injury. - No lower-floor room, relocation assistance or reasonable refund solution was offered. A one-hour checkout extension was refused unless I paid another ¥3,000. - No towels were provided. When challenged, the property produced a photograph showing towels on a bed that was not mine. - No toiletries were supplied. - The bedding covers had visible stains, raising serious doubts about cleanliness. - The room had no effective ventilation. - Wi-Fi coverage in the loft was practically nonexistent. We had to use mobile data for a basic connection. - The sofa-cum-bed was uneven, sank into its frame and was uncomfortable for both sitting and resting. - Booking.com was equally ineffective. Despite my Genius Level 2 status, several agents gave contradictory answers and repeatedly said every decision depended on the owner. - Booking.com suggested waiting up to 48 hours for the owner during a three-night stay. One agent closed the chat without answering my questions or transferring me to a supervisor. - The eventual 20% wallet credit did not arrange accessible accommodation, fund relocation, refund the unsuitable stay or resolve the actual problem. It was credit issued after Booking.com had failed to provide practical assistance. The experience was defined by poor facilities, missing basics, rigid refusals and additional charges. The owner showed no meaningful flexibility after being told about a genuine injury, while Booking.com simply deferred to the owner.

The room was clean

My room was in the 4th floor. No elevator and the stairs were narrow and difficult to go up carrying my luggage. And being a senior woman, it was very dangerous and stressful to go up and down the stairs

Great location, very clean and comfortable.

Very well located in a nice quiet neighbourhood but not far from the train station so very accessible.

It’s a little small if you’re big, but that’s part of the Tokyo experience.
