Loved the lodge. Beautiful location and great facilities on site. (If they were open). We stayed here before for one night and loved it but noticed a few little things over a 2 night stay, due to the fact we would be cooking etc as the takeaway was closed.
Facilities for the takeaway on site were closed during our stay which was mid week. There was no notification on the web site which would have been useful. The pillows on the double bed were not great and interrupted our sleep on both nights. No little things like salt and pepper. A few small changes could make this a fantastic property. There was no welcome pack, no instructions for using equipment, ie oven, microwave etc. We realise this might cost more but for this lodge we would happily pay more for some little extras! We also had a dog but there was nowhere to put his lead and a bowl would have been great. Our comments are purely constructive as we do think it is a gem of a place!

Spotlessly clean, nicely furnished. Lovely outdoor seating area next to the putting green. Really lovely spot, 2 mins from the bar/ restaurant, takeaways (which are excellent) and play area.

This was an absolute find. We did not even know this place existed until I found it on Booking.Com. We have been travelling to the Borders for years. We will definitely be back to Lilliardsedge.
There was nothing we did not like.
