The room was very nice for what we paid, and the shower design was notably good. The location is handy for all of the various local villages, and whilst we didn't eat at the pub on the night we were there as there was a wedding on, it looked very nice.
Could do with two chairs rather than just one for two guests. The mattress was also very rigid.

Loved the area, the setting of the Mayflower. Room was a comfortable size, and had the basic amenities.
Cleanliness of the shower - had mold on the walls! Also, was not informed that the property was totally closed from 5pm Sunday, all day Monday and Tuesday. Therefore, we were unable to have an evening meal on those 3 evenings while staying there. We also wrongly assumed while the property was closed, that there would still be room service, ie. clean towels, quick clean around, but there was not. We found later a booklet showing a phone number to call should we require service, and a list of local eateries and food deliveries. It would have been nice had there been at least a mini fridge, so we could have kept drinks and food in.
