Welcome to Green River Escape, your peaceful getaway nestled on 8 acres of open land along the Green River and 30 acres of woods cut with the gentle flow of Hopper Creek. Our charming escape with a deck was built at the confluence of the Green River and Hopper Creek, perched above a heated two-car garage. It is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature (your furry friends are welcome, too!).
What You’ll Love:
Private & Secluded: Enjoy privacy and room to roam. You’re welcome to take a dip or fish in the Green River, explore the open fields or wander through the woods—just a heads up, there aren’t marked trails, so bring your boots for a little adventure (and maybe some mud!).
Cozy & Comfortable: The apartment sleeps up to 4 guests with a comfy king bed and two twin beds. Make some popcorn, relax in the living area and stream your favorite movies with Chromecast on the widescreen projector with theater-quality surround sound.
Modern Essentials: Stay connected with Verizon broadband, and WiFi. The full bathroom includes both a shower and bathtub, and there’s a washer/dryer available in the garage.
Charming Kitchen & Dining: Prepare meals in the small but well-appointed kitchen, then dine inside or on the deck with the relaxing sound of the river and stunning sunsets over the mountains.
Outdoor Living: Fire up the grill on the deck, or head down to the firepit below for s’mores and stargazing—we provide a starter supply of firewood for your stay.
Parking: You’ll have one space in the heated garage, and an additional spot in the driveway. There is a Level 2 EV charger with a J1772 cable (which charges all EVs, including Tesla) in the garage available for a small fee.
Pet-Friendly Policy: We love hosting your well-behaved pets! There’s plenty of space outside for walks and playtime, but we recommend leashes considering the local wildlife.
Please Note: This is a true escape from the hustle and bustle—there is no cell service away from the house, but you’ll have everything you need to relax, recharge, and soak up Vermont’s natural beauty.

VERY cozy rural stay with quick access to Manchester. For “in” days and nights the projector is perfect. The garage access is fantastic for rainy/snowy days. Beautiful, serene views off the back deck with stream sounds yards away. Great spot. We’ve stayed here twice now.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was as advertised or better! The hosts anticipated our every need. It was just the get away we were looking for and so happy we could bring our dog! We hope to visit again.
