The appartment in which we had the room was near the old city center. We had the advantage to not take more than 5 minutes to get somehwere to eat or have a drink. Also, it took 10 minutes to get to the beach, which was nice. We had nice cafés on the way, and lots of 24/7 supermarkets in the area.
The fact that the appartment is in the city center means it's noisy during the night. We couldn't sleep with the windows opened because of this, and we were forced to rely on the A/C. Another thing that bothered us, seing that a lot of people will go to the beach, there was nothing to sweep the sand off the floor. There might have been one in the common space (hallway of the appartment) but we didn't ask, we felt it should've been indicated.

The rooms are central to all amenities.. they are clean and neat and well set out..
Only a small detail., which was that the fitted sheet seemed too small for the very large comfortable king size bed and kept rolling up at the corners while we slept..

The location was very central. Although it was on the main street, it was quiet.
There was a heavy smell of air freshener in our room that wouldn't go away, no matter what we did. The air conditioner was positioned directly across from the bed, which was bothersome. Since the weather had turned cold, we ran the heating in the evening, but it emitted a bad odor; the filters need cleaning. Additionally, we didn't request housekeeping on the first day, but no cleaning was done—nor were we asked if we wanted it—on the following two days either.
