Our spacious room, with en-suite bathroom, was part of a beautiful, historic villa, furnished with fascinating antiques reflecting the lives of the family owners. The lovely, friendly host serves a wonderful, varied and beautifully cooked breakfast in an attractive dining room. Coffee can be taken on a shady terrace in the pleasant garden.
The accommodation is a 10 minute walk from the Como San Giovanni railway station and a similar distance from the superb trattorias etc of the historic centre.
The walk from the railway station involves a climb up a hill to reach the accommodation, which is not easy for those with heavy luggage or poor mobility.

Beautiful apartment, exceptionally well equipped, lovely views, the most delicious breakfast and an absolutely wonderful host, who couldn't have been more helpful and kind.
The bathrooms were thoughtfully equipped and the rooms huge with high ceilings and huge windows.
We also really appreciated the mosquito screens.
The reception area was really comfortable too when we needed to go back to collect luggage.
We are hoping to return
Nothing, it was excellent
Some may struggle with the trains being quite close but we found the noise minimal
