I thought the location was good. It was easy to open the key safe and get in. The flat was warm, welcoming and clean upon entry. Excellent kitchen, and a lovely bathroom. We slept well on the comfortable beds.
We didn’t cook there, but if we had we thought more in the way of cooking pans could be provided. Maybe also scissors to open packets and definitely a bottle opener. We forgot shower gel, so maybe providing a basic bottle would be handy.

Het appartement was compact, had een hele mooie fijne ruime en schone badkamer.
De gordijnroedes op de slaapkamers hingen wat los waardoor we de gordijnen niet dicht durfden te doen.

Goede locatie, fris en schoon verblijf, prachtige badkamer.
Mijn vriend is kok en vond een prachtige keuken…maar bijna zonder keukengerei, geen messen, nauwelijks gereedschap, geen handdoek, geen theedoek…
Verder voelde alles wat onpersoonlijk aan: schilderijlijstjes met nog de achtergrond van de winkel er in, sfeerloze inrichting. Maar ik begrijp dat het net nieuw gerenoveerd is… Locatie is wel top, leuke avond gehad in pub verderop, supermarkt tegenover, York Minster op 10 minuutjes.

Co owner helped out as much as he could when no/very limited hot water available. Clean and tidy apartment with large bathroom
10 to 15 minute walk to main areas
Noise from others staying in Flats...drunk and disorderly which woke children and was very uncomfortable/worrying to be around (walls very thin) Windows also did not offer much noise protection from busy road directly outside.
Boiler not working properly so had to have cold showers. Repairs would be carried out after we left. We were offered use of another apartment for shower for the following day but we were only there 1 night and had plans in morning so not much use. We were also offered a discount on our NEXT stay (if we wanted to go back) rather than this stay where we had issues?!?
