Breakfast was excellent. Location and staff were amazing. Fantastic experience overall.
Maps were difficult for this location and taxi service to the location was way too difficult. This is the only knock on the hotel.

Exceptional traditional Japanese style hotel. The staff are very attentive. We recommend trying the special meal served in your room.

We loved how homely and comfortable the property felt. It had a really nice mix of traditional Kyoto character with modern touches. The staff were also very thoughtful — when they noticed we were struggling a little with the heat, they left us cooling towels with a handwritten note, which was a really lovely touch.
