Modern, quirky hotel. Bathroom size and appearance fantastic. Love that you can get complimentary soft drinks, fizzy water and chippies from downstairs. Super comfortable bed. Nice breakfast in Palomar. Fun buzzy crowd in Monica for sunset drinks on the rooftop. We stayed 2 nights in a terrace room which we didn’t use but it was nice to be able to open the door for fresh air and it made the room feel much larger. The website photos showed a small window in the balcony wall which unfortunately we didn’t have so it wasn’t very appealing to sit outside but gave you lots of privacy
Dust bunnies appeared beside the bed and If they had bothered to ask me on checkout what my stay was like I would have told them then that they need to vacuum under the bed and not post my comment here.
Cleanliness is really important to us.
In fact it was the receptionists who let the whole experience down. They weren’t rude, they either didn’t know information when I called to ask some questions prior to my stay or they just didn’t seem to care. We were greeted in a reasonably friendly manner on arrival but there was one girl in particular that obviously couldn’t be bothered to be friendly. Definitely not a 5 star staff experience.
Having said that we would still stay here again.

Great stay in the centre of Sydney. We got upgraded to a beautiful big room that was incredibly comfortable. The space was very "cool" and the hotel has an amazing vibe.
Parking nearby isn't very easy.

The staff were very friendly and it had a very cool vibe but homely at the same time and the roof top bar is stunning and coffee was great

The art and concept is well executed. The roof bar is quite nice
For a "luxury" stay it really fell flat. After staying over the past two weeks at the Swissotel Sydney and the Sofitel Adelaide. The staff just don't have it. No one was rude or unprofessional but it lacked any of the polished services I'm accustomed to. I had to take my own bags to the room, the hotel tour was rushed and I'm awkwardly holding my room key, bags, phone. Honestly for the price and service I received I won't be in a hurry to come back. Plus the lack of parking or parking services offered is very disappointing. I'm sorry I missed that before booking otherwise I wouldn't have booked.
