We had a wonderful stay at Galley Port Sultanahmet. A clean, comfortable, and well-located boutique hotel offering excellent value for money. The Sultanahmet is about a 15-minute walk away, with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The area is busy and crowded during the day but not noisy. The room was comfortable with a new, powerful AC, and the washroom was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and Mr. Ercan, the owner, was very helpful and responsive, even arranging an early check-in for us.
The hotel also has a clean guest pantry with kitchen facilities, microwave, and tea/coffee amenities, plus a nice sitting area for coffee and chatting.
Highly recommended for its location, cleanliness, comfort, hospitality, and excellent value for money.

El alojamiento está bonito, económico y súper bien situado. Jam es quien nos apoyó todo el tiempo, amable , considerado y super atento a todas las necesidades, contesta pronto.

The owner (receptionist) Mr Ercan was a great host and did everything to help and satisfy the guests. The bed was comfortable. Tea, coffee... Offered free of charge. I absolutely recommend it to everyone.

Lo mejor es la ubicación; se puede ir andando a Santa Sofia, Palacio Topkapi, Mezquita azul, bazares, Cisterna etc. En la zona hay muchos sitios para comer y el tranvía a 15min andando (mucha cuesta, eso sí). Yadin estuvo muy atento desde el primer momento y resolvió unos temas de la calefacción y toallas sin problema. Puso mucho de su parte para que estuviéramos a gusto durante nuestra estancia y nos gestionó transporte al aeropuerto para nuestro grupo de 9. En general estaba bastante limpio.
Las fotos de la entrada y de las habitaciones están retocadas. La pensión (no es un hotel) se encuentra en una calle estrecha y concurrida, encajonada entre edificios y no en un espacio amplio como aparece en las fotos. Las habitaciones son muy sencillas, con arreglos chapuceros y mucho menos "elegantes" de lo que salen en las fotos. Esto no está bien, es engañar al cliente. En una habitación, a la ducha le falta media puerta y en otra el váter está, literalmente, en medio del baño. Lo peor es el agua de la ducha que alternaba entre abrasando y gélida: era imposible lograr una temperatura media agradable. La comunicación con Yadin es compleja ya que no habla ni inglés ni castellano, pero el traductor de Google funciona bien. Hay que subir una escalera muy empinada y curva, lo cual puede ser incomodo para personas con dificultades de movilidad o maletas muy grandes.
