The host is very friendly and supportive. He fed us with information for our further travels and even provided us a surprise breakfast, when we had to leave in the morning.
The hotel is quiet and the rooms are comfortable and aesthetically disigned and we had anything we needed.
It wasn’t easy to find spots to hang up the wet beachwear for drying.

Superb stay at Royal Beach. The hotel is located in the centre of Trincomalee, a 2 minute walk from the beach and on a quiet side road so there it is not loud. The rooms are super nice and all have both an AC and a fan so it is always very cool. Both of the owners are absolutely lovely and offered us use of their motorbike, a cold beer on arrival and even offered to arrange us food when nothing was open. Would 100% recommend a stay to anyone looking for a nice, quiet place in Trincomalee
