location a breeze for everything. As i dont live in the UK, a seaside guest house with a hearty breakfast was a good reason for booking and the sausage and egg on toast with some HP was super. the option for children for 4 pound was more than sufficent for my 10 year old., Bed and sheets looked crisp and clean and that felt good to slip into after a full day of activities. Big Shout out to Graham the real trooper of the place. I didnt want a boring hotel without charm. i got charcter and a warm atmosphere. my daughter who has never lived in the UK said, "the people are really nice in blackpool". Well done Dreamcatcher.
Before you read this, Yes i would book again. Dreamcatcher delivered the experience i wanted to relive my childhood how i remember it. I havent stayed in a guest house for a good number of years, but creaky floor boards and plaster thin walls make having a deep sleep a little more tricky in your 50's. I heard the couple next door up at 6am on thier floor boards, and then said, "i've been lying awake for ages". Thanks for the info, it's seems now i am awake too. But for my 10 year old she sleeps through heavy thunder storms and 2 earthquakes so maybe im a little more sensitive these days.

I liked how the host took us to our room and explained how to work the shower etc. I liked how bright it is and love all the pictures around the place.
I felt my room needed a deep clean. For example, there were black hair strands in the shower cubicle and on the bathroom floor. The bathroom door was filthy. Where my son slept, there was a shelf, and in the corner was a large rectangular hole filled with dust. The dust was pretty bad, and one of the cups had tea residue at the bottom. Also, the fan was really dusty.
