Apartment Schubert - good place to stay

I had a great time attending the International Congress of Byzantine Studies at the U of Vienna.

Attractive. Close to University. Historically interesting: connection with Schubert, near a Beethoven site, built on top of a remnant of the medieval walls.

I had to pay 25 euros to check in early, but I couldn't get a receipt.

Only stayed 1 night out of 3 booked.

The location was great.

Air conditioning unit in room was very loud with a pups out of an open window that could not be closed. Booked the apartment for 3 nights but only stayed 1 as the air conditioning was so loud we had headaches and couldn’t sleep. This was not an apartment but a small room with no en-suite bathroom or cooking facilities. We had to book into alternative accommodation at our own cost.
