J'ai beaucoup apprécié le calme et la vue magnifique sur le lac de Bienne. Le village est très paisible, la découverte de l'île St Pierre. Il y a les offres de restauration à proximité. La plage située à proximité permet une mise à l'eau aisée d'un canoé kayak
Notre séjour a duré une semaine. Cuisinant un peu, il manquait des équipements pour nettoyer un peu.

Sehr charmantes kleines Hotel in der Altstadt. Das Bad ist sehr klein aber sonst ist alles sehr gut, das Frühstück, die Lage, der hübsche Garten und die absolute Ruhe. Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The hotel building has lots of old-world charm, combined with simple, modern and bright décor. Just be aware that there are quite a few stairs to maneuver. Take light luggage!
The hotel is tucked away in an atmospheric corner of the old town, up a little hill, and within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and the beach. If you let the host know in advance, you can get a parking permit for a shady car park nearby at no extra cost. Driving right up to the hotel to drop off your luggage can be a little tricky, as it’s surrounded by narrow cobblestone streets, but we found a way to get reasonably close to the front door for unloading.
The host was friendly and helpful, and provided a delicious continental breakfast with wonderfully warm, crusty bread, locally sourced meats and cheeses, and delicious fruit from his own garden.
We had a glimpse of the lake from our budget double room. Although the bathroom was very small, leaving the door open gave you the benefit of the extra space in the entrance area. It was a hot summer’s night, so we particularly appreciated the fly screen on the window, which meant we could leave it open all night, as well as the oscillating fan provided in the room.
A charming place and a great choice for our one-night stay.
Our arrival would probably have been a bit smoother with instructions on how to get close to the entrance to drop bags off. It's actually easy.
