The location directly at the beach is wonderful and very peaceful. The villa itself is spacious and has a lot of character. My room was large and well equipped, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive and made me feel very welcome. The concept also works very well for groups, as the staff can cook meals if guests bring groceries, which could make for great shared evenings.
As a solo traveler the setup was a bit less convenient. In the morning only instant coffee was available; a small breakfast option would really improve the experience at this price level.
In some areas the property shows a bit of age and a few small maintenance details could be addressed. The garden area could also be maintained a little more carefully since several dogs live on the property.
The transfer pricing was a bit confusing as well – I was initially quoted 2,400 PHP and shortly after 1,200 PHP.

Large rooms plus facilities like one large kitchen plus a small one close to the pool, as well as a large living room, ideally for a group of people that might want to cook the occasional meal themself. Very nice pool and a lovely garden, all very spacious and perfectly clean. I also liked the direct access to the beach and the ocean. And it is very quite (with the exception of the occasional karaoke in a facility that is rented out for parties close by), no crowing cockerels/roosters, no barking dogs. The ideal place to find some relaxation and peace.
Although they provide free coffee and cookies in the morning (self-service), I would have loved to have a small choice for breakfast which couldn't be that difficult when you think of all the personell they employ. And as I was traveling on my own, I kind of missed other guests - never saw or heard one during the entire week.
