The location was exceptional. We only had 1 day in Edinburgh and the flat was minutes walking distance to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. The flat is newly remodeled and was very clean. I slept on the Murphy bed and was pleasantly surprised how comfortable it was. Our hosts asked if they could quickly pop in to repair something so we were able to meet them. They gave us dinner recommendations and dropped off a little soemthing for the inconvenience, which it wasn't. We all highly recommend the castle flat!
Nothing really...would have been a bonus if there was onsight parking but we communicated with the hots and they gave us garage recommendations very close by.

Very central location, close to everything, and very clean
This is a ground floor flat so you have people passing by the windows and less natural light. Can also be some noise from the street if you are sensitive to noise.
