The property was within walking distance to Peebles
Lovely quiet residential area.
Well equipped kitchen and amenities
Comfortable living area and bedrooms
Parts of the property could do with some tlc including the garden and drive way.
Only space for one vehicle on the driveway, this could be improved to accommodate 2 vehicles.

The house itself was beautiful and clean. Felt very comfortable staying there. The area was also very nice and convenient when walking the dogs.
Someone had tried to get inside the property in the afternoon we went somewhere. According to the management it was another booking that overlapped with ours. Both pin for key box by the front door and garden was inserted. Garden key box was left open. Management assured us the next day that they did not get inside the property, and they arranged an alternative accommodation for them. We were uncomfortable staying there but we let it go since it was our final night and we were due to leave in a few hours. The worst thing was the management did not inform us when it had occurred the night before and did not give us reassurance until I told them about this occurrence the next day. Clearly, management was aware of what happened and yet gave us no transparency that someone could have potentially gone in the house. It could be that my dogs were in the property that prevented them from going in. This has never happened to us before so we were very disappointed.
Also, the bedsheet in the single bedroom had a clear visible blood stain on the fitted sheet so we had to find alternative blankets and change it on the first night. It is disappointing as the house itself met our needs but management needs to do better.

Ideal location just a short walk from the town centre.
The property was extremely deceptive from the outside, looked quite small and old fashioned but was extremely spacious and modern once inside, fabulous kitchen and dining area.
Lovely comfortable lounge and spacious bedrooms.
Bathroom was quite small but adequate.
The cleanliness when we arrived was first class everything was well organised.
Off road parking was okay although a good test for your handbrake on the small parking ramp next to the property.
The only negative was the garden although very spacious was un kept and needed a good tidy.
A lack of garden seating which would of been nice to be able to sit outside.

The house was very clean, with plenty of space for a family of five. Due to the lovely weather, we weren't in the house much. It was a very short drive from Glentress, where we spent most of our time. The house was in a fab location, right next to an open green park. There was a children's playing park as well as a bike/scooter bowl, which my children loved.
Maybe the garden could do with a little tlc.
