The outdoor seating was great, as an alternative to the dining inside- more relaxed. The huge lobby allowed for nook privacy. The finishes in the rooms and hallways were elegant/hip.
The evening reception person was indifferent and potentially annoyed by our 8pm check in (or not to the standard of hospitality culture). The host at the dining reception was also confused by the prospect I’d prefer an espresso drink out on the terrace as opposed to a full breakfast in the dining area. The decor, while stylish, felt overdone and probably because the hotel hosts wedding guests so that leveling up in the grand tradition of showy surfaces and vacuous spaces does not resonate with a more pragmatic clientele. Add to that it’s situated in a corporate headquarter parking lot.
