About this house rental
Bachelor basement of a century old single family home in Cedar Cottage / Kensington area of East Vancouver. Centered in the heart of East Vancouver and close to all the best neighborhoods. Big private back yard, fully fenced and great for pets. Private patio space area.
5 min drive to Commercial Dr, and Mount Pleasant.
The bedroom can be setup with 1 or 2 beds. There is also a folding single cot and the sectional couch, so could potentially sleep up to 6 people.
Television includes IPTV with Canadian, American, UK, European TV packages, PPV, etc.
Small older bathroom with stand up shower.
8 min drive to downtown Vancouver. Also transit bus is right outside.
I live upstairs with my dog and cats so just be aware of that.
Car park in back for your vehicle with free level 2 electric car charging.

This basement apartment is near a busy road, but it was very quiet. Our host was quick to respond to our messages, and arranged to be at the apartment so he could orient us and give us the key. The kitchen was well supplied with basic equipment for making simple meals. The laundry detergent, clothes washer and dryer in the unit came in handy. Within a 10-minute walk, we bought a bus pass, found a friendly Catholic parish, and ate at Asian food, including great Vietnamese sandwiches. The attached photo is from one of our walks to the sandwich shop.
