Welcome to A Hidden Gem, a comfortable 3-bedroom, 2-bath home in the small town of Palouse, Washington. Whether you're visiting family, attending a WSU or University of Idaho event, exploring the Palouse, working in the area, or simply looking for a peaceful place to get away, you'll have a welcoming home base with room for up to six guests.

Step inside and settle into a bright, comfortable home designed for an easy stay. The living area offers plenty of room to relax together after a day of exploring, while the fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare anything from morning coffee and breakfast to a family dinner. You'll find the everyday conveniences you expect along with a selection of useful small appliances—including a coffee maker, toaster, kettle and air fryer—so you don't have to leave the comforts of home behind.

The home offers three bedrooms and four beds, giving couples, families, friends and visiting university families flexibility. Two full bathrooms make mornings easier when everyone is getting ready for the day, and an in-home washer and dryer is especially convenient for longer stays.

One of our favorite features is the large private deck. Start your morning outside with coffee, unwind at the end of the day, or simply enjoy the slower pace of life in the Palouse.

You'll also find some distinctly local touches inside. Original artwork by area artists brings a bit of the Palouse into the home, and when available, we're happy to provide our guests with farm-fresh eggs.

A great location for exploring the Palouse

Staying in Palouse gives you the opportunity to enjoy a quieter small-town setting while remaining within easy driving distance of Pullman, Washington and Moscow, Idaho. It's an excellent location for WSU and University of Idaho parents, alumni, sporting events, graduations, family weekends and other university activities—without having to stay in the middle of campus traffic.

The surrounding Palouse is a destination in its own right. Take a scenic drive through the rolling hills, bring your camera for some of the Northwest's most recognizable agricultural landscapes, explore local communities and antique shops, or spend the day hiking, biking, fishing, hunting or enjoying the outdoors.

Afterward, come back to A Hidden Gem, put your feet up and enjoy having an entire home rather than just a hotel room.

Flying to the area?

Guests have several airport options. Pullman–Moscow Regional Airport (PUW) is the closest regional airport, while Lewiston–Nez Perce County Regional Airport (LWS) and Spokane International Airport (GEG) provide additional flight options. This can be especially helpful during busy university weekends when flights into Pullman fill quickly.
