This cozy caretaker's cottage has been completely renovated. It is a respite and an escape from the busyness of the city.

The space
The warm, coziness of the pine interior was harvested from trees felled on the estate grounds in the mid-20's. Look outside of your front door to watch the deer grazing in the pastures, the chickens pecking at the ground, and cats scurrying about.
The cottage has been completely renovated in 2020 and has all the comforts of home. On the grounds of the private estate HollyOaks on the Marsh, a home and venue for weddings and corporate events.
The estate is truly MAGICAL especially at sunrise and sunset as the sun turns the marsh golden. We are told time and again that our respite far exceeds any expectation imaginable.

Guest access
You may stay in this quaint Creek House, enjoy the footpaths down to the creek, and walk the grounds of the estate as you renew yourself with minimal distractions and nature in abundance! The wooded footpaths meander through the woods along the creek. Great for walking and enjoying the sounds of nature! You may also bike and picnic. You can sit on the porch with a book and enjoy the soft breezes with Spanish moss gently swaying in the dozens of live oaks. Some of the oaks are over 450 years old!

Other things to note
The Cottage is sterilized between every guest stay. Our professional cleaning crew wears appropriate safety gear and uses cleaning products that sterilize surfaces, handles, etc. All towels and sheets are washed on the hottest setting.

As per Georgia law, we are not allowed to leave open food in the refrigerators or pantry, hence, all food items will be removed after the guest checks out and no supply of items will be provided prior to check in except for:

HOUSEKEEPING: There is no daily housekeeping service provided. Before check-in, the unit will be thoroughly cleaned and inspected by professionals. Clean sheets and towels will be available in the unit. Mid-stay cleaning services during your stay can be requested for an additional fee.
