Didn't meet my expectations for the price I paid due to claims that it's a high-end luxury hotel.

Breakfast choices were good, plus the fresh juice station!

Room: 1. It stunk of cigarettes, the carpet, the bathroom, everywhere! 2. The chair for the work desk is broken, I fell off and hurt myself 3. Pillows were old and uncomfortable 4. Bed is too small for a suite - it wasn't even a queen size bed 5. Walls are too thin, you can hear people in other rooms and even guests above the room Spa: 1. Facilities are too old, and too dark 2. Pools, not all features are working Lobby and Hotel facilities: 1. Outdated and too dark, needs an upgrade as it's not a good ambiance

Very good

The hotel is situated in a small pine forest on top of a hill, which offers a magnificent view of Velingrad. For those who enjoy hiking, there are excellent opportunities since the ecopath starts right by the hotel. Not to forget the staff who was friendly and very helpful. All in all, we enjoyed our little holiday and we would come back again next year.

The beds, especially the sofa bed and the pillows, were uncomfortable.

A great place to kick back and Maxi relax!

The hotel, staff, and amenities were great. The place was spotless – we used the hot mineral pool, the SPA, the massage parlor and the restaurants. Breakfast was abundant even for the picky eaters there were choices and options. Everyone was accommodating and went out of their way to help and try to address any asks we might have had. In short, the Maxi hotel was a great place to kick back and relax.

What could have been organized a bit better was the game room for the kids – it was a bit too small and getting change for the games was challenging. Also, while the location of the hotel itself was great from perspective of being elevated and offering amazing views of the area, if someone wanted just to wonder around town – that might have been a bit more challenging.

Superb

That was my second visit and there were a lot of people in spa zone. But my first visit was amazing, we spent 2 nights with my sister and enjoyed Spa a lot. very good breakfast and nice restaurant on -1st floor.

During my first visit I forgot my phone charger but the staff was not so eager to help me to find it when I called them by phone and when I visited them again in 10 days

Excellent place for a relaxed weekend

The Spa is excellent. On Saturday it was quite busy, but Sunday was even better as it was not crowded. The restaurant is ok.

Good

- The indoor pool is excellent size, you could swim without bumping into people - SPA is big enough - The salt pool with jacuzzi was excellent temperature and kids could swim in it - Breakfast was excellent - The room was good size, bed was really comfortable - Staff was very helpful and met every requirement we had

- outdoor heated pool was not heated - one of the saunas was cold - the salmon at dinner was raw the second evening - kids playground is broken for at least two years now - the water in the room in the afternoon was colder

Spa was top draw! Very spacious rooms with a wonderful view of nature!

Staff where okay but with all 5 star hotels you expect an excellent service all around! They where good but just that!

nice for relaxing weekend or midweek

beautiful location, great building with impressive lobby bar. Spa very nice large and relaxing.

room had big empty balcony 20m2, but only 2 bar-chairs and an ashtray for quickly smoking a sigaret. strange for someone that never smoked and just wanted to sit quietly on the terrace, enjoying the clean air, the great view while reading a book. luckily friendly staff organized two chairs for the balcony!

I would recommend this hotel to my friends

the staff was really nice, they upgraded our room for free, it was a nice surprise. the room had amazing view and was very spacious and comfortable. the bathroom had both shower cabin and bath tub and two sinks which is convenient. the spa zone and outdoor pool were great!

In general we liked our stay at the hotel, but there were some issues with the bathroom experience

The rooms are big and comfortable. We liked the spa with several pools at different temperatures, and sauna. The breakfast was varied and tasty.

The bathtub was a little bit clogged, and the water always filled the bath during the shower. We complained at the reception, and they sent someone to fix it, but it didn't help. The sealing of the bathtub door was bad, and it was always a lot of water on the flour.

Everything accesible. Really nice staff. The pools and spa were great!

We were lucky we went in low season, so no much people. Unfortunately we couldn't use all the spa features because they were not all available.
