Stayed for a few days while attending a wedding nearby. Room was fine, but needed some upkeep. Location was good, about a 10 minutes from main shopping area and 10 minutes from parks/Granville Island.
A once off perhaps, but I left a jacket behind at the hotel. Staff were following process, saying the jacket wasn't in the room and housekeeping were adamant there was nothing left in the room. I had to be quite insistent that the jacket was there and after a while it turned up (in the laundry in error). Mistakes happen and that's OK; sometimes staff have to put yourself in the shoes of the guest and think out of the box. Other than that, friendly in a transactional way.

Great location. Close to quick conscience locations ( coffee shops, grocery needs all at a few steps distance.
Rooms are a bit outdated. Still clean and comfortable.

The room worked as we needed it to, which was to sleep. It was close enough to downtown but having never been there I would have booked closer to the mall. The free Wi-Fi was a great bonus. And the parking was a great asset. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The cleanliness could have been better. The shower was getting soft in the middle (where standing). Water pressure in the shower was pretty sad, the sink had great pressure. The safety of the area has nothing to do with the hotel - however, it was pretty gross - a lot of smokers just lighting up wherever (marijuana and nicotine), meth pipes being lit out in the open as well. Like I said though - not the establishments fault and nothing you wouldn't not see or run into in any large area such as this.

Good location and staff were friendly and helpful.
We were put in a room (210) on the second floor, view of roof a/c’s, room was tired and dingy.
Mattresses are hard.
