Comfort and cleanliness.
Cold and unwelcoming staff. The breakfast was very disappointing and definitely not worth it. No refills after 10 a.m., even though breakfast is served until 11:30 a.m. Even more surprisingly, complimentary water is reserved for members only, completely unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.

We had such a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Québec! After travelling almost 5 hours from Kingston, Ontario, it was the perfect place to rest and relax.
The hotel is very clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. A special thank you to the reception team who went above and beyond to make our check-in possible when I had a little issue—they were patient, kind, and truly helpful. It made such a difference after a long drive.
The complimentary DoubleTree cookies were such a sweet touch, and they were SO good! 🍪 The hotel also has a pool, sauna, and hot bath, which made our stay even more relaxing. The location is convenient as well, with restaurants and a golf course nearby.
Definitely a place I would recommend, especially if you’re travelling from Ontario and looking for a clean, comfortable, and relaxing stay in Québec. We would happily come back! ❤️
The only downside for us was that the property is a little farther from downtown, so you’ll need to drive if you want to explore the Old Québec area. 🏨 To Old Québec: about 13.6–15 km
* 🚗 Driving: roughly 12–20 minutes, depending on traffic and exactly where in Old Québec you’re going.
* Hilton itself lists the City Center at about 12 km and says Old Québec is around 20 minutes away.
Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. We’d happily come back! ❤️

very clean and modern well maintained grounds adjacent to golf course
As I reserved through Booking.com I could not use any of my Hilton perks - very cheap to charge me $4 for a bottle of water that is free as a Hilton member!

Very dark lighting
Small vanities in bathroom so I couldn't put any toiletries anywhere but in the bedroom counter.
Other hotels have flooring and not musty carpets. I opened the window everyday
