A comfortable stay in a king bed room, lovely view overlooking Kamloops, clean, quiet and well located to Central Kamloops.

Very spacious, clean and quiet room. Evidently this hotel is used as an overnight stop for travellers on the Rocky Mountaineer, so it's of reasonable standards. Easy to park, quiet - those were the main things we needed - but the beds were also comfy and we got a good nights sleep.
Check-in a little chaotic (they didn't notice we had booked two rooms and gave us a key for only one), however everything else about the room was good and comfortable. Two downsides to mention - the 'breakfast included' was the most basic breakfast I've ever had in a hotel - cereal, fruit and yoghurt plus some pastries served on paper plates and eaten with plastic cutlery. Really could not believe my eyes when I saw the paper plates/bowls. Less washing up, I suppose. And secondly, my daughters loved using the little pool, however the chlorine turned my elder daughter's (highlighted) hair bright green - she's actually a swimming teacher in the UK so spends a lot of time in swimming pools and this has never happened before - goodness knows what was in that pool! Overall a reasonably stay as a one-night stop over travelling between Vancouver and Banff.

The pool was small and smelt of chlorine. The aircon was very loud
