The stay is in a great location, not far from Old Montreal downtown, whether you drive or take public transit, with the trip taking about 15 minutes. It is also right beside Longueuil Town Centre, where there are plenty of restaurants with different cuisines and local specialties to enjoy.
The host was very friendly and took the time to show us around the house and the backyard garden. The antique furniture gave the house a charming, nostalgic atmosphere and reminded us of the beautiful old homes that being read about in storybooks.
The shared kitchen was also very convenient for our small family to prepare our own meals during the stay.
Last but definitely worth mentioning was the piano in the living room. My daughter loved it very much, she could continue practising while we were travelling and enjoy playing whenever she had some free time.
It was an overall comfortable and memorable stay with a lot of character.

Location was great and very easy to walk to their small village center which had plenty of restaurants. Very quiet location. Delightful older house and the hosts were very gracious and spoke excellent English.
There was a small dog that lived at the house that I was not aware of. As someone who has a discomfort with small dogs, I wish I would’ve known this ahead of time
Additionally, breakfast was included, but I was never told when breakfast would be.
I left at 8:30 in the morning and still nobody was awake and there were no signs as to when breakfast was served so I left hungry. Just a little disappointed in that.
Additionally, there was construction, going onto the outside of the house right underneath my bedroom window until 8:30 at night. Making for a weary travel travelers’s ability to get to sleep early impossible.
